Yakima JetStream Crossbars Roof Rack Installation - 2022 Honda CR-V

I'm Matt with etrailer and today we're talking about the Yakima roof rack on top of our 2022 Honda CR-V. And it's gonna be a great option if you're going on a trip and you need to store some extra luggage because maybe you have some friends and family with you and you can't put it on inside your vehicle, especially if you already have a hitch that's being used by either a trailer or something else or you don't have a hitch at all. And it's really gonna be good if you have any longer items that you can't fit into the back of your vehicle anyways. It's important you know what kind of roof you have, so way you can check is right now we do have a naked roof and that means we're not gonna have any type of rail on top. You can also get this vehicle with flush rails and that's gonna be something you'll be able to notice because you can get your hands around that and to make sure you're getting the right kit for you you can plug in your vehicle's information into our website before I find the correct fit for you. Speaking of the kit, up top we're gonna have our 50 inch JetStream crossbars. more

Rhino-Rack ROC25 Roof Rack Installation - 2014 Honda CR-V

Hi everybody, Adam here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack system, for your naked roof, on your 2014 Honda CRV. If you're looking for a fairly cost-effective roof rack, that has all the features that I really look for, in a roof rack system, I definitely think that the Vortex Aero Rhino-Rack Roof Rack system, is gonna be good for you. We're going to be able to put about 165 pounds worth of stuff on top, we have T-Tracks, it's made of aluminum, it's not gonna rust away, and it's just gonna allow your CRV, and the people you're driving around, to do more. Some things that you don't see with some roof racks is locks, these come with it. Even some of the higher end racks, you really have to purchase the lock separately, which is kind of silly in my opinion, but this one comes all with it, you don't have to buy anything separate. more

Ryan: Hey everybody. Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2020 Honda CRV, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Rola RBE Series Roof Rack. Like most midsize SUVs, they're going to provide us with plenty of room on the inside to carry our friends and family, but really not enough to truly carry all the gear and extra things that we want to bring on our trip.Well that where the roof rack is really going to come into play. It's going to provide us with a area to mount other accessories like a roof basket, a kayak carrier, even a bicycle rack. And that's going to still have all that room on the inside for our friends, all while being able to carry our large accessories with us as well. And in my opinion too, even with no accessories on the roof rack, it actually makes the CRV look pretty good. more

Thule Podium Roof Rack Installation - 2012 Honda CR-V- Video

Thule Podium Roof Rack Installation - 2012 Honda CR-V

Today on our 2012 Honda CR-V, we'll be test fitting the Thule Square Load Bar Roof Rack System using the 58 inch bars, part number THLB58 the Thule Podium Roof Mounted Foot Pack for Square Load Bars, part number TH460 and the Thule Roof Rack Fit Kit for the Podium Style Foot Pack, part number THKIT3118. To begin our test fit, we need to remove the covers on our flush mounted side rails. Now we'll remove the covers that cover up our bolt holes. With our roof rack system assembled according to the instructions, we'll go ahead and place our first bar directly onto the front part of our roof. We want to make sure that the feet of our front bar line up nicely with the appropriate holes. Once we have it in place and once the overhang of our bars are even, we can then tighten down our foot pack to our bar, so they don't slide around. Once we have our foot packs tight, we can then grab our bolts and our Allen key and mount our feet to our flush mounted side rails. With both bolts tight on their side, we'll move to the driver side and repeat the same process. more

We've already assembled our roof rack system according to the instructions. To begin our test fit we'll need to remove the covers for our flush mounts. There should be 3 tabs for each mount, one on top of the flush mount, and then two round tabs covering our bolt holes. Once we have all of our covers removed, we can then place the front half of our carrier onto our front mount. more

Thule Podium Roof Rack Installation - 2007 Honda CR-V

We are going to install the Thule Podium roof rack. We will show you how to install it and how it looks. The first thing we need to do is remove the cover for the hard point that is already installed on the vehicle. There is a little slot you put your screw driver in and pull it out. There are two studs and we have to clean up the threads to install out adapter parts. It does come with a die that will help you clean up the paint on the threads. You want to run those all of the way down as far as you can and then back it off. You can do that for every stud. We will add two extensions to the studs. Go ahead and install the cover that comes with the fit kit and then put a crossbar on. 0:44 more
